Previously at The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan the Catbus could only be ridden by children. Now thanks to a new updated ride, both adults and children can enjoy the fun of the "Totoro" Catbus.

The Catbus has been a ride at The Ghibli Museum for quite some time, but it was only ever made for children. According to Kotaku, when the museum re-opens after renovations, a new Catbus ride will be available for both adults and children. The friendly character of Catbus first debuted in 1988 in the Japanese anime film "My Neighbor Totoro." In the film the Catbus escorted Mei and Satsuki on their journeys.

The Catbus will be a part of the "Ride the Catbus to Ghibli Woods" experience and will open on July 17 at The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan.
