"X-Men" movie veteran Lucas Till is set to star in CBS's "MacGyver" reboot.

Joshua Boone has also joined the drama pilot as Gunner, MacGyver's best friend from high school. "CSI" alum George Eads was cast earlier this month as Lincoln, a conspiracy theorist who happens to work for the government.

The reboot follows a 20-something MacGyver as he’s recruited into a clandestine organization, where he uses his knack for solving problems in an unconventional manners to help prevent disasters from happening.

The 25-year-old Till, who's best known for playing Havok in "X-Men: First Class," "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," also stars in the upcoming sci-fi film "Monster Trucks."
