As part of this week's X-POSITION interview with "Inhumans vs. X-Men" co-writer Charles Soule, Marvel has given CBR an exclusive first look at the cover for next spring's big finale issue. "Inhumans vs. X-Men" pits the two factions of Marvel heroes against each other as they battle for their survival.

Series artist Leinil Yu's cover to issue #6, which you can see for the first time below, puts the X-Man Emma Frost front and center as members of both the Inhumans and X-Men bow down before her.

The cover definitely highlights Emma Frost's heightened role in the event series, which serves as a follow-up to the revelatory "Death of X" story. That storyline revealed that the Cyclops that orchestrated the destruction of one of the Terrigen clouds and declared war on the Inhumans was actually a mental projection created by Emma. Last week's "IvX" #0 served as a prologue for the upcoming series and teased the beginnings of Emma Frost's big plan for dealing with the Inhumans.

"Emma is a glorious character to work with, and I'd love to do more with her," said Soule in this week's X-POSITION interview. "I like writing her dialogue, obviously -- that ability to skate right on the edge between aloof and outright cruel… it's wonderful."

Written by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule with art by Leinil Francis Yu, "IvX" #6 arrives in stores in March 2017.
