IGN has debuted another featurette focusing on X-Men: Days of Future Past. This time around, however, the focus isn't on just one mutant like previous videos highlighting Sunspot and Bishop.

Titled "Bringing New Mutants to the Screen," the clip features interviews and behind-the-scenes footage focused on the film's expanded X-Men cast. One soundbite praises director Bryan Singer for being "very good at giving [these new mutants] a good inner life" -- a skill needed considering how little screen time characters like Warpath and Blink received.

Screenwriter Simon Kinberg also talks about the responsibility he felt to make sure that his script lived up to both the actors involved as well as the decades of source material. "The characters have almost all had their own spin-off comics, they have certainly all had their own storylines in the comics, so there is a depth of history and experience for those characters."

X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives Oct. 14 on Blu-ray and DVD.
