As actress Alexandra Shipp recently tweeted, Storm's secret is out! After seeing a number of her "X-Men: Apocalypse" co-stars on set in their 1980s duds, a number of new cast photos have finally given fans a glimpse of what Storm might look like in the next "X-Men" film. Over the weekend, Storm actress Alexandra Shipp changed her Twitter icon to one of her shaving her head -- a look that she was recently seen sporting on while taking a break from filming "X-Men: Apocalypse."

The icon change occurred after director Bryan Singer posted a photo to Instagram featuring Shipp with her short haircut.

Around the time Singer posted that pic, Shipp tweeted:

Guess the secrets out 😜⚡️- Alexandra Shipp (@AlexShipppp) June 7, 2015

Shipp could have shaved her head for any number of reasons: this could have been done to facilitate a full Storm wig, or Storm could have a super short hairstyle in the film. The most popular theory, though, is that this may mean we will get to see a version of Storm's mohawk -- a look she sported for much of the 1980s -- on film. Since "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set in the 1980s, many X-Men fans have had their fingers crossed that Storm's iconic '80s haircut, which was introduced by artist Paul Smith in 1983's "Uncanny X-Men" #173 and made a return to the printed page in 2013, would make its way into the adaptation.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" opens on May 27, 2016.
