Not only did 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse" introduce one of the most iconic X-villains into the film franchise, it also reintroduced a number of integral mutants as young heroes-in-the-making. One such hero was Tye Sheridan's Cyclops, whose first few days as a student at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters were quite a doozy. Scott Summers went from interrupting his high school history class to stopping the destruction of all life on Earth alongside his new super-powered friends.

A deleted scene from "X-Men: Apocalypse," revealed via Yahoo! Movies, shows Cyclops taking one more step towards becoming the stalwart do-gooder fans know. In the scene, Beast (Nicholas Hoult) gives young Scott a visor and inadvertently inspires the final thing he needs to become a superhero: a codename.
