After a backlash from WWE 2K20, WWE Games stepped back from its plan to release an annual video game -- nixing any potential plans for a WWE 2k21 -- and focused efforts on the more cartoon-based approach of WWE 2K Battlegrounds and developing its realistic graphics-approach to its upcoming WWE 2k22 video game.

WrestleMania 37 will air live as a two-night event from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on April 10 and 11. The event is available to stream live for Premium and Premium Plus subscribers of NBC's Peacock streaming service, the new home of WWE Network.

WrestleMania 37's night 1 will feature matches including Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair and Bad Bunny with Damien Priest vs. The Miz with John Morrison. Its second night will feature matches such as Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan and The Fiend with Alexa Bliss vs. Randy Orton.
