After Warner Bros.' upcoming "Wonder Woman" film, the character's next live-action appearance will be in the "Justice League" team-up movie. It's not yet confirmed if a second solo venture is happening, or if "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins will again be involved -- but Jenkins certainly appears up for more, saying there are "hundreds of things" she'd like to do with the character beyond what's in the soon-to-be-released origin film.

"Many, many things I can't wait to do with her," Jenkins told reporters at a press event in London attended by CBR last week. "She's got a lot of shades that I really, really like."

Other than a framing sequence set in the present day, the action of the film takes place during World War I, a century away from Wonder Woman's present-day superheroics as seen in last spring's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and November's "Justice League;" leaving plenty of room for more of Diana on screen. For now, Jenkins is suitably enthusiastic for getting to tell the character's origin story, one that hasn't been depicted nearly as much as her fellow DC Comics superhero icons, Superman and Batman.

"I think whatever we get to do with her in the future, the great thing is, this is the way to start," Jenkins said. "And then you give birth to a superhero that can go on to have all kinds of different shades and dimensions in the journey. "

Warner Bros. has also released a new photo from the film, seen below:
