Although "Wonder Woman" arrives in theaters in a couple of months, there's still a lot we don't know about the film's primary antagonist, the Greek god of war Ares. We got our first look at the superheroine's classic comic book foe in February, courtesy of an action figure on display at Toy Fair. But a new LEGO set may provide us with a sense of the deity's scale.

Entertainment Weekly has debuted the first LEGO set for the film, part of the toymaker's DC Comics Super Hero line, which features minifigures of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor, a World War I-era fighter plane, and one very large, very imposing Ares.

The god of war as depicted in block form is enormous in comparison to the other characters, and wields a sword that's as long as he is tall. What's also notable about the design is that Ares' face is shrouded by the skull, with only a pair of red, angry eyes showing through. The LEGO set goes on sale May 1.

Opening June 2, director Patty Jenkins' “Wonder Woman” stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner, Lisa Loven Kongsli and David Thewlis.
