After earning an impressive $800 million at the worldwide box office, director Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman arrives today on digital HD, and with it comes the highly anticipated feature "Epilogue: Etta's Mission." However, the bonus content doesn't simply mean more screen time for Lucy Davis' fan-favorite character; it also delivers what appears to be a connection to Justice League.

In a clip debuted by Yahoo! Movies, Etta meets up with Saïd Taghmaoui’s Sameer, Ewen Bremner’s Charlie and Eugene Brave Rock’s Chief Napi, and lays out their mission to recover an artifact she describes as "very old" and "very powerful." While she stops short of saying what, exactly, the artifact is, one can't help but presume it's one of the Apokoliptian Mother Boxes central to the plot of Justice League.

"It was conceived after we wrapped," Jenkins explained of the epilogue. "There were no cut scenes in the movie, basically, which I’m very happy about, because you can’t always do that. I’m very hard on the script before we go in, and you’re always hoping for that — that you’re not wasting your precious days. We got lucky on this one, that that was the case. And every single one of us wished that Etta was in every scene, as well as the team. We were like, ‘Can we just put them in everything?’ They were just so great!"

"So [the epilogue] was kind of a shared delight," Jenkins continued. "We started to have these incredible materials that started to come together on the documentary side, but we also loved the idea of having another scene and some other things, and bringing back some of our favorite characters and getting to mess around with them some more. So it just came very naturally … the idea of getting to see her and the team making the plan for the future was pretty exciting."

Mother Boxes are "living computers" that, in DC Comics lore, possess a wide range of wondrous abilities, from healing seemingly fatal injuries and creating blasts of energy to rearranging the molecular structure of matter and opening and closing the extra-dimensional portals known as Boom Tubes. We already know that in Justice League there are three Mother Boxes on Earth, one on Themyscira, one in Atlantis and the third, as seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, in the possession of Cyborg's father Dr. Silas Stone.

Available now on digital HD and Sept. 19 on Blu-ray and DVD, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Ares, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Elena Anaya as Doctor Poison, and Lucy Davis as Etta Candy. Justice League arrives Nov. 17.
