The footage, which came out of the Celebrity-focused Splash News agency, shows Elizabeth Olsen (A.K.A. the Scarlet Witch) in torn jeans and a long coat, practicing some hexy fighting moves alternately against a stunt choreographer and a motion capture actor, each of whom wield a staff.

In some of the footage, the staff looks like it has lights at each end. It could really be any character, but this hint does bring one Marvel Comics villain to mind...

Famous for carrying a staff that burns with balls of flame at either end, the cosmic character Firelord was created by Gerry Conway and John Buscema, and made his first comics appearance in "Thor" #225, cover dated July, 1974.

A native of Xandar, Firelord was originally named Pyreus Kril and was granted his powers, and a fiery makeover to match, by the planet devourer Galactus. Given that Galactus is tied into the "Fantastic Four" movie franchise over at Fox, it seems likely that if flame-headed one is indeed going to feature in "Infinity War," the character's origins will either be substantially altered or skipped over entirely.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and with an expect cast including much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Avengers: Infinity War” arrives May 4, 2018.
