The largest Arrowverse crossovers to date, "Crisis on Infinite Earths" spans five series -- Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Batwoman -- beginning Dec. 8, and continuing into this year. The CW event has also boasted a bevy of cameos from DC movies and television shows, from across the decades. Its conclusion promises to bring even more guest appearances, but when is that, exactly?

The Conclusion of Crisis

Green Arrow Oliver Queen Green Arrow Crisis on Infinite Earths feature

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" will conclude Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/PT with Arrow, followed at 9 p.m. by Legends of Tomorrow. Legends is considered a special episode; the fifth season doesn't premiere until Jan. 21.

The ambiguous episode synopses don't tell much, outside of referencing DC's original Crisis crossover, but they promise more multiversal destruction. Following the event's conclusion, the Arrowverse dramas will resume their regular seasons beginning Sunday, Jan. 19, with Supergirl and Batwoman. The absence of descriptions for those midseason premieres means we don't yet have a clear picture of the state of the Arrowverse, post-"Crisis." However, it's been speculated that the parallel Earths will coalesce into one, similar to what happened in the classic comics.

The Story So Far

The crossover began with Supergirl, in which Argo City and Oliver Queen himself met their end. The people of Supergirl's Earth were also evacuated to the Earth of Green Arrow and The Flash, but the death of Oliver Queen emphasizes the accelerating threat of The Anti-Monitor.

The story continued on Batwoman, where the heroes were sent by The Monitor to search for the remaining seven heroes, or Paragons, who may be the multiverse's last hope. That leads to Earth-96, where the machinations of Lex Luthor force the Kingdom Come/Superman Returns Superman to fight the Arrowverse Superman. After Batwoman encounters a merciless, murderous version of Bruce Wayne, it's discovered she is in fact one of the Seven Paragons. An attempt to resurrect Oliver Queen using a Lazarus Pit also fails, leading to the next chapter in The Flash. While one team recruits Ryan Choi as a paragon, one of the Anti-Monitor's antimatter cannons is discovered. In order to stabilize it, Pariah summons Black Lightning from his Earth, as The Flash of the 1990s TV series sacrifices himself to destroy the weapon. John Constantine and his team go to the Earth of Lucifer to save Oliver's soul from Purgatory, but he eventually takes the role of The Spectre over from Jim Corrigan. The losses continue as a brainwashed Harbinger kills The Monitor, and Lex Luthor does the same to the Superman of Earth-96.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 on Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and on DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The Supergirl, Batwoman and Flash episodes are now available to stream on The CW.
