The end of the year is almost upon us, which means it's time to reflect some. Let's start with a simple one, shall we? What's your pick for the best movie of the year? Click through and share some thoughts.

It's been an odd year for movies; top grossers are, as usual, split between remakes/sequels and new movies, with a strong focus on kid-friendly and young-adult fare (The top 10 movies of the year, from highest to lowest, were Toy Story 3, Alice In Wonderland, Inception, Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows, Part 1, Shrek Forever After, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Iron Man 2, Despicable Me, Clash of The Titans and How To Train Your Dragon). Most of the much-anticipated movies failed to find the success many hoped for at the box office - I'm still bitter about Scott Pilgrim, American moviegoing public - or with critics. But there have certainly been highpoints: for me, the afore-mentioned Scott Pilgrim and Inception, as well as the much-lauded The Social Network. But what movies made your last 52 weeks worthwhile?
