Marvel Television treated fans at WonderCon to an unaired episode of "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," currently airing on Disney XD, and previews of "Ultimate Spider-Man" and the anime versions of "Iron Man" and "Wolverine."

The panel opened with Marvel's Executive Vice President, Head of Television Jeph Loeb and VP of Merchandising and Communications Michael Pasciullo warning the audience that agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be patrolling with night vision goggles during the presentation to ensure no one was capturing footage with their smartphones.

Once the perimeter was clear, Loeb talked about the creative effort involved in the "Ultimate Spider-Man" cartoon, currently set to air in 2012, noting both Men Of Action and Paul Dini's instrumental involvement in the development of the series, as well as the visual influence of Stuart Immonen, Humberto Ramos, Joe Quesada and more. Loeb also mentioned that writer/consulting producer Brian Michael Bendis is currently working on his second script for the show, which features Nick Fury.

From there, a minute-long animation test for "Ultimate Spider-Man" was shown to the audience, featuring Nick Fury, one of Spidey's trademark web-swinging sequences and the J.K Simmons voiced J. Jonah Jameson. [Editor's note: While Simmons has confirmed his work on "Ultimate Spider-Man", Marvel and Loeb declined to confirm any voice casting info.]

After "Ultimate Spider-Man," fans were treated to an unaired episode of "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes." The episode, titled "Ultron 5," tells the story of the origin of long-standing Avengers nemesis Ultron, and features Captain America, Hulk, and the Black Panther, as well as an appearance by the Serpent Society.

Loeb introduced G4's Blair Butler, and they discussed the anime versions of "Wolverine," "Iron Man," "X-Men" and "Blade," which all feature writing by Warren Ellis and animation by Madhouse.

A trailer for "Iron Man" -- featuring its original Japanese dialogue -- was presented, complete with anime versions of Iron Man and War Machine fighting what appeared to be a heavily H.R. Giger-influenced version of the Scorpion. "Iron Man" will premiere in July on G4.

Loeb announced that Adrian Pasdar will be providing the voice of Tony Stark in the translated version of the "Iron Man" anime while Pasdar's former costar on "Heroes," Milo Ventimiglia, will be voicing Wolverine.

Wrapping the panel, Loeb presented a subtitled clip of "Wolverine" from the series' pilot "Mariko." The clip presented showed a young Wolverine saving the life of a supporting character named Tesshin Asano from a cadre of A.I.M. agents. The clip also featured Wolverine's love interest Mariko Yashida, her father Lord Shingen and the thief Yukio, all of whom originally appeared in the classic Wolverine series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller.
