Ahead of the May 14 series premiere, Fox has made the first episode of M. Night Shyamalan- produced thriller "Wayward Pines" available for free across numerous platforms, including Fox on Demand, the Fox Play app and Hulu (where you can watch it below).

Developed for television by Chad Hodge ("The Playboy Club") from the bestselling novel "Pines" by Blake Crouch, the 10-episode event series stars Matt Dillon as a Secret Service agent who travels to Wayward Pines, Idaho, in search of two missing federal agents. But he soon learns it’s much easier to enter the seemingly bucolic town than it is to leave it. Hodge wrote the first episode, which Shyamalan directed.

Premiering May 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, "Wayward Pines" also stars Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Shannyn Sossamon, Reed Diamond, Tim Griffin, Charlie Tahan, Juliette Lewis and Hope Davis.
