The latest "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer debuted Monday evening during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on ESPN -- and things look bad for Marvel Studios' assembled superheroes, facing threats on multiple fronts in the new minute-and-a-half clip:

While there's some previously seen footage in the clip -- including Ultron (James Spader) crashing the Avengers' party and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) fighting Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the Hulkbuster armor, there's plenty of new here, too. Though it's 2016's "Captain America" sequel that's subtitled "Civil War," this trailer also emphasizes in-fighting -- which seems to be all part of Ultron's plan, as he states, "I'm going to tear you apart from the inside."

Here's a look at the various narration lines in the trailer, which may not be too meaningful individually, but likely give some fairly significant clues when viewed together:

Iron Man: "This vulnerable world needs something more powerful than any of us."

Ultron: "Everyone creates the thing they dread."

Nick Fury: "No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around."

Thor: "You've meddled with something you don't understand."

Black Widow: "We have no place in the world."

Ultron: "I'm going to tear you apart from the inside."

"Avengers: Age of Ultron," written and directed by Joss Whedon, is slated for release on May 1.
