Paramount Pictures has released the new trailer for Interstellar that created a buzz at Comic-Con International, perhaps buoyed a little by the convention debuts of director Christopher Nolan and Matthew McConaughey.

The trailer serves as a nice showcase, striking a balance between the film's emotional elements -- specifically, between McConaughey and his children -- and its beautiful visuals.

McConaughey stars as single father Cooper, an engineer and pilot who becomes a farmer in the wake of a global food crisis. Recruited by his mentor (Michael Caine), McConaughey joins a space mission to find another planet capable of sustaining human life.

Arriving Nov. 7, Interstellar also stars Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn and Matt Damon.
