Though the animated "Killing Joke" adaptation does a solid job at replicating the vibe of Brian Bolland's art, a new video remakes the trailer to look even closer to the original comic.

Composed by artist Emil Ryderup, the video replaces the actual trailer's darker palette with a more vivid style, representative of Bolland and colorist John Higgins' work on the original "The Killing Joke" graphic novel, as it was released in 1988.
