Emily Blunt is a woman on the edge -- and on the trail of a killer -- in the for the psychological thriller "The Girl on the Train."

Based on the novel of the same name by Paul Hawkins, frequently referred to as "the next 'Gone Girl," the film centers on Rachel (Blunt), who's devastated by her recent divorce. She spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house the train passes each day, until one morning she witnesses something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

Directed by Tate Taylor ("The Help," "Get on Up"), the film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez, Lisa Kudrow and Laura Prepon.
