WATCH: David Tennant's "TMNT" Character Debuts Via Video Message

Nickelodeon has released a video introducing the former Doctor's character on the hit animated series: the robotic Fugitoid.

Nickelodeon has released a video introducing new cast member Fugitoid to the the cast of its hit animated series, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Announced at Comic-Con International, where the video debuted, David Tennant is just one of a number of high profile guest voices in Season 5, along with Michael Dorn, Ron Perlman, Lance Henrikkson and more.

Tennant provides the voice for Fugitoid, a character who first appeared in the original "TMNT" series by creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The show officially describes him as "once an alien scientist named Dr. Honeycutt, but after his body was destroyed, his brain was saved and placed into the body of a robot."
