After teasing a crossover with "Dancing with the Stars" earlier this month and revealing a few pics from the elaborate routine yesterday, ABC has released "Agent Carter's" dance number ahead of tonight's two-part episode.
The clip comes courtesy of People and stars an indecisive Peggy (Hayley Atwell), a crooning Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) and a return appearance by Angie Martinelli (Lyndsy Fonseca). The dance number was choreographed by "Dancing with the Stars'" Louis van Amstel and features an original song by lyricist David Zippel and composer Christopher Lennertz. Pretty much the entire cast shows up, including adversaries like Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan). There are even some "Dancing with the Stars" dancers (Dmitry Chaplin, Karina Smirnoff, Anna Trebunskaya, Sasha Farber and Damian Whitewood) involved.
Entertainment Weekly talked to Atwell about the number, which initially caused the series lead to think she'd been tricked.
"When the showrunners told me that it was going to happen, I thought they were lying, because they're such pranksters," said Atwell . "You can't walk into that office without being boobytrapped in some way. Then the script came, and it's an absolute incredible spectacle. I went into Capitol Records and recorded some, so I am singing in it, and I'm doing a little bit of dancing. There's some fantastic professional dancers that are in it too."
Two hours of "Agent Carter" air tonight starting at 9 PM ET on ABC.
