"Mad Max: Fury Road" is a certifiable smash, receiving both box office success and critical praise. Much of the discussion around the film has centered on the stunning visuals created by director George Miller and his team. The filmmakers relied heavily on practical effects, creating massive mobile vehicles and structures that had actors dangling from poles or gripping the sides of speeding big-rigs. As impressive as it all appears on screen, getting a behind the scenes peek at how it all came together is perhaps even more awe-inspiring.
