Official Press Release

“23 years ago, twelve strange children were born in England at exactly
the same moment. 6 years ago, the world ended. This is the story of
what happened next.”

Starting today, writer Warren Ellis and artist Paul Duffield begin the
FREAKANGELS serial — a new, weekly webcomic offered free online from
Avatar Press. Each weekly installment of six full-color pages will
follow the story of the titular Freakangels, twelve unrelated young
people living some years from now in a flooded England. The lives of
the Freakangels take a sharp turn when a girl from Manchester named
Alice shows up with a shotgun and a grievance. You see, she’s met the
twelfth, prodigal Freakangel, who had very different ideas of what
they should do with themselves in this flooded future England…

Visit http://freakangels.com to read the first six pages of this
exciting new serial, and bookmark the link! Be sure to swing by the
Whitechapel forum and discuss the comic (or any number of other
topics). Freakangels and the Whitechapel forum are both free and
ongoing.

FREAKANGELS, the story of what happened next, begins Friday, February 15 and
updates every Friday with a new episode from Warren Ellis and Paul Duffield.
