Here's some good news for LEGO fans: You'll be getting the CGI movie based on the iconic toy line three weeks early. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has moved the film now known as LEGO: The Piece of Resistance from Feb. 28 to Feb. 7.

Co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) have said the movie will be mostly done in a LEGO world that includes many existing sets from the company's long history, including Batman and Superman mini-figures.

The description on IMDb explains the plot further: "An ordinary Lego mini-figure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil Lego tyrant from gluing the universe together." Resistence boasts a voice cast that includes Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Chris Pratt.

Next year will also see the release of the straight-to-DVD CGI animated LEGO Batman: The Movie — DC Super Heroes Unite.
