With Matt Reeves' The Batman nearing its theatrical release, Warner Bros. has updated the poster art for most of its DC films on the Movies Anywhere service to mark the occasion.

As pointed out on the r/DC_Cinematic subreddit, more than two dozen live-action DC films on Movies Anywhere currently feature celebratory poster art inspired by The Batman -- including films that exist outside the main DC superhero universe, such as Constantine, V for Vendetta and Watchmen. (That said, there are a number of notable exclusions, including the 1984 Supergirl movie and Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, which bear their normal artwork.) These new posters are simply spins on the originals, which have been edited to feature The Batman's logo and the film's signature red aesthetic, with some also featuring the Gotham City skyline.

The complete list of films to feature these posters reads as follows: Superman: The Movie, Superman II, Superman III, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Catwoman, Constantine, Superman Returns, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Green Lantern, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Ultimate Edition, Suicide Squad, Suicide Squad (Extended Cut), Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman, Shazam!, JokerBirds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), Wonder Woman 1984 and The Suicide Squad.

This isn't the first time a studio has added special art to previous films in order to celebrate a new release. Just last year, Marvel Studios celebrated the release of Black Widow by adding special art inspired by the movie to every Marvel Cinematic Universe film on Disney+ to feature the character of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. In this case, though, The Batman's influence expands well beyond DC films to feature the Caped Crusader.

Directed and co-written by Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Lt. James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin. Set during the Dark Knight's second year of crimefighting, film sees Bruce learn the truth about the corruption in Gotham -- and how it connects to his own family -- while pursuing the enigmatic serial killer known as the Riddler.

The Batman releases in theaters on Friday, March 4.
