Fans of The Walking Dead who've long wished to see the television adaptation of the acclaimed horror comic in black and white will finally get their wish. AMC announced this morning it will air all 19 episodes of the hit drama on July 7 and 8 (the weekend before Comic-Con International), with the world television premiere of the black-and-white version of the pilot capping off the marathon. The two-day event will also include the first look at a scene from Season 3.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will introduce each episode from the set of the show's third season, setting up storylines with the help of cast members and producers. Every episode will conclude with new content, including behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

The marathon will culminate Sunday, July 8 at 9 p.m. with a live primetime special edition of Talking Dead, followed at 10 p.m. by the black-and-white pilot episode "created specifically for fans of The Walking Dead, as it holds true to the original black and white comic book."

The Walking Dead returns for its 16-episode third season in October.
