TV By the Numbers has ratings for yesterday’s fourth broadcast episode, in which the show’s audience trailed off slightly to 4.8 million viewers, down from last week’s 5.1.
The episode was still above the second episode’s 4.7 million viewers and within range of the pilot’s initial Halloween broadcast that brought in 5.3.
“Vatos,” the fourth episode of the series, is of particular note for comic fans as the teleplay was written by series co-creator Robert Kirkman. This is Kirkman’s first writing credit for the series, and first produced credit for television.
According to TV By the Numbers, the minor decrease in viewers did nothing to prevent the show from maintaining its run as the most-watched scripted show on cable amongst adults 18-49. For more, check out TV By the Numbers and stay tuned to CBR and Spinoff Online for more on “The Walking Dead.”
