After the brutal losses in its season seven premiere, AMC's "The Walking Dead" is already "apparently" looking to cast new characters for season eight. While speaking with People, Maria Bello revealed she's a fan of the show and that she may have landed a spot in the following season.

"I am obsessed with the show," said Bello. "I have a friend who’s a producer on it and I've asked them to write me a part, which apparently they are for next season."

If Bello in fact ends up on the show, the role she would play is currently unknown. However, her enthusiasm about the opportunity is so high that she'd even be willing to play a Walker. "Even if I just play a zombie," Bello continued. "I said, 'I'll just come out and play a zombie for an episode, I don’t care!' But it is my favorite show."

Bello currently plays Michelle McBride in the Amazon Original Series "Goliath". She is also known for her roles in "ER," "A History of Violence" and "Coyote Ugly".
