The show, which will feature interviews with "The Walking Dead" cast and executive producers along with clips from key moments in series history, is AMC's solution to a problem that many long-running shows face - how to get new and occasional viewers caught up ahead of a new season.

However, "The Walking Dead: Journey So Far" promises to have plenty to satisfy the parent show's most committed fans too. As AMC's press release puts it, "The Walking Dead: Journey So Far" is aimed at providing "fans who‘ve never missed a moment with fresh interviews with the series' producers and their favorite actors as part of an exciting refresher course that will further whet their appetite for the new season."
