"Batman: Arkham Origins" is due for release on October 25, and in anticipation of its release, WB Games has released a 17-minute video with commentary from Ben Mattes, Senior Producer at WB Games Montreal, and Michael McIntyre, "Arkham Origins'" gameplay director. The video shows a massive selection of gameplay including regular combat. The game picks up early on while Batman is still looking for information on Black Mask, with an eye to infiltrate the Gotham City Police Department. The footage also gives a cinematic look at "Arkham Origins'" Batcave and its features. The open world is impressive (according to McIntyre's comments, it's "over twice the size" of its predecessor, "Arkham City"), and the video does a decent job of providing the scope of the city.

Plus, there's a brief glimpse at the end of the video of two old, familiar faces.

Check out the 17 minutes of gameplay below.

"Batman: Arkham Origins" releases October 25 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.
