Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland is set to reunite with his Avengers: Infinity War co-star Robert Downey Jr. for The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Holland isn't the only high-profile actor to join the cast of the upcoming film. Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes, Antonio Banderas, Selena Gomez and Michael Sheen have also boarded the project ahead of its April 2019 release.

Banderas will play a pirate named Rassouli, while Sheen is set to play the sidekick Mudfly. The other aforementioned actors will all take on the role of animals, who Downey Jr.'s Dolittle will be able to communicate with over the course of the film.

The film is set to kick off production later this month in London, based off director Stephen Gaghan's script. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum will produce the movie under Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, alongside Susan Downey under Team Downey.

Directed by Stephen Gaghan, The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle stars Robert Downey Jr. as the titular role, joined by Jim Broadbent, Harry Collett, Tom Holland, Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes, Antonio Banderas, Selena Gomes and Michael Sheen. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 12, 2019.
