More than 500 volumes of such top-selling manga as One Piece, Naruto and Death Note debuted today on comiXology as part of a new North American distribution agreement with Viz Media.

The publisher, which already had its own self-contained app for multiple platforms, brought its digital catalog to the Amazon Kindle in October; just days later, comiXology announced a deal to distribute titles from Viz Media Europe and its subsidiary Kazé to French-speaking European countries. Amazon purchased comiXology in April.

The launch titles under the new deal are: Bakuman (all volumes); Bleach (all volumes and same day as print); Blue Exorcist; Claymore; Death Note; Dragon Ball Full Color; Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z; Hikaru No Go; Knights of the Zodiac; Nana; Naruto; One Piece; One-Punch Man; Rosario + Vampire; Rosario + Vampire Season II; Rurouni Kenshin; Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration; Shaman King; Tenjo Tenge; and The Prince of Tennis.

“The addition of Viz Media today marks a huge increase in our manga offerings and I, for one, cannot wait to dive into today’s releases and the many thousands yet to come," comiXology CEO David Steinberger said in a statement.
