Clearly not satisfied with his status as a major movie star, Vin Diesel's One Race Productions has signed a first-look deal with Universal Television, as reported Wednesday by The Wrap. One of the potential products is already known: a series described as a "complement" of the "Riddick" film franchise, which has thus far consisted of three films starring Diesel and written and directed by David Twohy.

"I have dreamt about expanding the One Race brand into television and now we've found the perfect creative partners in Bob [Greenblatt], Jen [Salke] and the team at Universal Television," Diesel said.

In further Vin Diesel news -- and there's always Vin Diesel news, isn't there? -- in a recently posted Facebook video (about three minutes in), he revealed that a sequel to 2005 Disney family comedy "The Pacifier" is being written, "at my little angels' request." No further details have been released.
