As Venom wasn't directly linked to Spider-Man, the anti-hero didn't appear with his signature white spider symbol on his chest. However, concept art of the character shows a discarded design for a much different sort of chest symbol.

The concept art, which comes from TheVenomSite, shows white coloring spreading from Venom's shoulders down to his groin. There are several other images alongside this one that show other designs for the character. As that website isn't officially associated with the production, it's entirely possible that these are fake, though there's no evidence to suggest that's the case here.

Venom made over $855 million at the worldwide box office, proving a monumental success for Sony Pictures and its fledgling Spider-Verse. A spinoff film based on Morbius, the Living Vampire, is currently in production That movie will be the next installment in the franchise. Additionally, a sequel to Venom is currently in development.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa (Life) from a script written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Lost in Space), Sony's Morbius stars Jared Leto as the titular character and Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft. The film will hit theatres on July 31, 2020.
