Remember that awesome scene from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" where Quicksilver uses his super-speed to help break Magneto out of prison? According to co-writer Matthew Vaughn, who was initially attached to direct, his original version of that sequence was much different.

“I had Juggernaut being thrown out of a plane at 20,000 feet, and using his head to go down a hole to get to the bottom of [The White House],” he revealed on the Empire Podcast.

In Vaughn's version, Beast would've flown Juggernaut over the White House and used him as an involuntary projectile. “I had Beast saying, ‘I have a plan,’ and him replying, ‘What’s the plan? What’s the plan?,' and they go higher and higher and Beast was going to go, ‘This is it!’ and chuck him out the window. Then he goes smashing through [The White House] with his and Magneto goes, ‘Who the fuck are you?’”

He admits the scene seen in the Bryan Singer movie is better, going so far as to say it's “the best scene in the movie.” He added, “I would have made the movie worse. The Quicksilver one was better.”

Vaughn's new film, "Kingsman: The Secret Service," is now in theaters.
