Variety also reports that Fox Searchlight has hired writer/directors Alex and Andrew Smith (“The Slaughter Rule”) to adapt and helm the graphic novel “Son of the Gun.”
Actor Kevin Spacey confirmed in an audio interview (Windows Media only) with the website Christian O’Connell’s Bounty Hunter that he will be shaving his head to take on the role of Lex Luthor.

Comics Continuum reports that Susan Sullivan reprises her voice role of Hippolyta in the upcoming episode “The Balance,” alongside Robert England as Felix Faust, Bob Joles as Hades, Juliet Landau as Tala, Jason Bateman as Hermes, Wayne Knight as Abnegazar and Michael T. Weiss as Jason Blood. Stan Berkowitz wrote the story and Dwayne McDuffie wrote the teleplay, which was then directed by Dan Riba. They also have a look at Captain Marvel from the episode “Clash.”
The Indianapolis Star talked to director Christopher Nolan about why he cast Liam Neeson. “We were looking for someone to play a mentor that the audience would immediately warm to and see as trustworthy,” Nolan said. “The baggage Liam carries is very useful. He presents a seductive quality that is very important in bringing Bruce Wayne into his point of view.” The film also made the cover of SFX magazine.
Speaking of Gotham City, Comics Continuum reports that Kids’ WB! has announced it will have the network premiere of “The Riddled” episode of “The Batman” animated series on Saturday, May 21. They also have screen captures from the episode.
