V For Vendetta, Priest, X-Men 3, Asterix: January 25th Comic Reel Wrap

V FOR VENDETTA

Good news for German fans — according to this website, the graphic novel adaptation will make its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, which starts February 9th.

Latino Review also claims that a second trailer for “Superman Returns” will play with the film when it launches this spring.

PRIEST

The trade magazine Variety is reporting (subscription required) that “Amityville Horror” helmer Andrew Douglas will next turn his attention to Screen Gems’ horror pic “Priest,” which is being produced by Mike De Luca, Sam Raimi and Josh Donen. The film is based on a Tokyopop graphic novel, and the screenplay is scripted by Cory Goodman.

X-MEN 3

The best spoilers are always Claremont-ized! Trekweb has the synopsis of the Chris Claremont-penned novelization of the film, detailing the plot.

There’s also new photos from the film at a fan site for actor Aaron Stanford (who plays Pyro) and at The Can Magazine showing a somber event and a possible look at a Multiple Man.

ASTERIX

There’s an article at About.com about the upcoming animated film “”Asterix and the Vikings,” which will make its debut in April.

PAINKILLER JANE

There’s a review of the Sci Fi Network original film, adapted from the Event Comics series.

… SO MUCH FOR MY HAPPY ENDING

Here’s where you get in on the action. Did you see a link we didn’t catch? Have you snuck into a closed movie set, and have inside data? Maybe your cousin is dating somebody who knows something, and they had to tell you? Whatever it is, we wanna know it all — fire off an email and let us know whether you want your name used or your contributions to geekdom to go down anonymously. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is novelist/reviewer/karaoke host/all-around lunatic Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and [tagline sent back to development hell until something hipper can be dreamed up].
