The University of Chicago recently received a mysterious package that the mail department initially disregarded. Addressed to "Henry Walton Jones, Jr.," it was only later that a student realized the package was actually intended for Indiana Jones.

In the package was a detailed replica of the journal used by Indy in Raiders of the Lost Ark. "The book itself is a bit dusty, and the cover is teal fabric with a red velvet spine, with weathered inserts and many postcards/pictures of Marion Ravenwood (and some cool old replica money) included," the UChicago Admissions blog writes. "It’s clear that it is mostly, but not completely handmade, as although the included paper is weathered all of the 'handwriting' and calligraphy lacks the telltale pressure marks of actual handwriting."

The site confirms this wasn't a joke or hoax on the university's end, and they're trying to puzzle out why the institution received it. The package doesn't have any actual stamps on it, but it was delivered to the mail department. The hall that it was addressed to was once the home of the geology and geography department. The UChicago blog asks Internet users to help them figure out what's going on but the answer, to us, seems simple: Indiana Jones is a professor at their college.
