Wolverine #88 by Larry Hama, Adam Kubert, Fabio Laguna, Mark Farmer, and Tim Townsend

Deadpool versus Wolverine

Deadpool finishes this fight in Wolverine #88 by impaling Logan's chest with his swords. Wade Wilson and Wolverine have a history that goes back a long way and Wolverine has hated the guy the entire time. Not really surprising since Logan isn't exactly known for his sense of humor.

The two trade insults at each other the entire fight as they battle it out in a tiny city apartment. The battle comes to a close when the Merc stabs through Wolverine. After a recent encounter with Magneto, Logan still had no adamantium in his body, and Deadpool took full advantage of the fact.

The plan was to catch him unawares, which didn't work. But according to Logan, that was no problem at all – he'd just keep Magneto distracted while the Professor worked. That was working well until Magneto got mad and pulled all the adamantium out of Wolverine's body with his magnetism.

The X-Men save the passengers, and Wolverine goes looking for Hulk. Recently enlisted as the new leader of the team, Logan tries acting calmly at first. But when Hulk behaves more and more like an impertinent child, the claws come off. Even though the two have super-powered healing, Logan manages to knock the big guy out.

6 Spider-Man And Logan's Graveyard Fight

Spider-Man Vs. Wolverine by Christopher Priest, Mark Bright, Al Williamson, and Petra Scotese

In an European stint, Spider-Man and Wolverine's fight results in one of Spidey's most lethal mistakes. Wolverine and Spider-Man's differences are very black and white, which makes it no surprise that the two don't often see eye to eye.

4 Fighting The Hulk As A Horseman Of Apocalypse

Wolverine #145 By Erik Larsen, Leinil Francis Yu, Dexter Vines, and Marie Javins

Wolverine versus Hulk

Apocalypse is back, turning heroes into horsemen again. This time he gets Hulk as War and Logan as Death, but it isn't long before the two horsemen are fighting to the death. Logan didn't want the job, obviously, but at the time it was between him and Sabretooth. He figured he would at least try to control himself, and so do less damage.

When Hulk isn't acting like a very good horseman, Logan/Death is sent in to deal with him. The fight goes entirely Hulk's way until Logan is pinned down, getting crushed. A berserker mode kicks into gear, and he just tears into Hulk, almost killing him.

Only her roommate, Jean Grey, and her friends the freaking X-Men were in attendance. None had ever met Iron Fist before. When Wolverine sees Danny, he thinks he's an intruder and the two immediately start fighting. Both are impressed with the skill the other possesses, but it isn't long before the rest of the X-Men join the fight and the whole thing gets way out of hand.
