Fortune has unveiled a close-up look at the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the magazine's cover story on Disney CEO Bob Iger.

As detailed in this introduction, Industrial Light & Magic worked with the magazine to create the cover and opening photo, which feature the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" in flight and in a hangar, respectively: "The collaboration started with our photo shoot with CEO Iger earlier this month in New York. The photos were then turned over to ILM to, well, work their magic. Not surprisingly, the secretive division was mum about the exact process for creating the realistic shot of Iger standing right on set, casually leaning against a chunk of metal (the image seen in the opening pages of the story)."

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Warwick Davis, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie. It opens Dec. 18, 2015.
