Paramount Pictures has released more than two dozen new stills -- well, a couple are slightly different versions of those we've seen before -- from Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger showcasing Chris Evans as the Sentinel of Liberty, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark. But, as you would expect, Evans as a pre- and post-transformation Steve Rogers gets the most attention.

Directed by Joe Johnston, Captain America: The First Avenger also stars Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Toby Jones, Stanley Tucci, Richard Armitage, Natalie Dormer, Neal McDonough and Samuel L. Jackson. It opens on July 22.

Captain America: The First Avenger will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving).
