Although he's best known as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., actor Clark Gregg is about to become an agent of a very different persuasion.

Gregg is the star, writer and director of Trust Me, a new drama about a down-and-out talent agent. The erstwhile Phil Coulson plays Howard Holloway, a talent agent for child actors, currently in a downswing career-wise. His prospects pick up when he catches wind of an up-and-coming prodigy, played by newcomer Saxon Sharbino. It's a make-or-break moment for both the talent and the talent agent.

The trailer shows a healthy blend of humor and humanity, and is chock-full of all-star names, like William H. Macy, Sam Rockwell, Molly Shannon, Allison Janney, Amanda Peet, Felicity Huffman and Niecy Nash.

Trust Me arrives on VOD on May 6.
