If you thought "Deadpool" was going to let having a release date so close to Valentine's Day go by unnoticed, you were wrong. A new "poster" for the film reimagines the R-rated superhero affair as a Nicholas Sparks-esque romance, complete with smiles and sparkles. The image was revealed via the "Deadpool" Twitter account.

"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds, who has romcom cred thanks to "The Proposal," also tweeted another take on the romantic poster. This one features the image on a billboard with Deadpool's gloved hands framing the poster in a heart shape.

Directed by Tim Miller and starring Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and more, "Deadpool" opens on February 12.
