Paramount Pictures has released a new behind-the-scenes video from the set of "Transformers: The Last Knight" that sees star Anthony Hopkins take a stroll with his canine co-star, an adorable brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Freya.

Dubbed "Britain's Loneliest Dog," the neglected pup resided in a kennel for six years, and was rejected more than 18,000 times by potential owners. Eventually, a UK couple adopted the companionless canine, and Michael Bay, needing a dog for the movie, decided to give Freya a part in his fifth "Transformers" outing.

The video shows the dog working with Hopkins in a castle scene. Hopkins takes a leisurely stroll around the castle grounds, while Freya trails faithfully behind. Hopkins, for one, was impressed with her acting skills, labeling Freya's performance as "just great."

"Transformers: The Last Night" is the fifth film in the lucrative Hasbro-based franchise. It will see the return of many of the first four films' human characters, including Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Willam Lennox (Josh Duhamel), Robert Epps (Tyrese), and Joshua Joyce (Stanley Tucci). Peter Cullen and Frank Welker will reprise their voice roles as Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively.
