On the heels of "Rebel Scum" arrives another impressive Star Wars film, set not on the icy wastes of Hoth but on the scorching sands of ... Tatooine, maybe? Jakku?

Written and directed by Joe Sill, "Kara" introduces who a father and daughter who come to the aid of a Rebel pilot shot down in a fierce dogfight, only to quickly find themselves on the run from Imperial Stormtroopers. However, they're not exactly defenseless.

"Kara" is nicely shot, with strong performances and solid special effects. It's certainly worth setting aside seven minutes or so of your time to watch.
