When Robin returns, which of Batman's young partners will be behind the familiar green domino mask? That's the question writer Peter Tomasi and artist Andy Kubert will answer in July's "Robin Rises: Omega" one-shot, the follow-up to the "Hunt for Robin" storyline currently running in Tomasi's "Batman and..." ongoing.

A week after the one-shot hits, Tomasi and regular series artist Patrick Gleason pick up the threads once more in "Batman and Robin" #33, which sees the Dark Knight continue to deal with the threat of Damian's grandfather Ra's al Ghul while also introducing Darkseid's minons and Apokalips to the storytelling mix. But while fans may expect Damian to once again fight crime at his father's side when the dust settles, as Tomasi tells Hero Complex, that may not be the case.

"Weeeeelllll, you're making a biiiiggg assumption that it's Damian that comes back from the dead," Tomasi told HC. "And in a general note I'd say thatanyone coming back from the dead, be it comicsor in real life, would most likely result in somechanges that no one expected.

"Let's just say that weare most definitely bringing back a Robin for Batman's 75th anniversary. Batman needs a Robin and Robin needs a Batman..."
