Superheroes don't spend all their time battling bad guys. Some also take a break to visit sick kids, a tradition that Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland fully embraced in a recent trip to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Holland toured the wards in his full film costume before removing his mask to talk to the young patients and their parents. The actor explained how his web-shooters work to one patient and, in the move that really raises the bar for all future superhero visits, even performed some side-flips in the corridor.

However, the 21-year-old actor wasn't able to demonstrate his wall-crawling abilities indoors; no doubt he was following doctors' orders to keep footprints from his Spder-shoes off the walls and ceilings. But that didn't stop the actor from showcasing some sleight-of-hand stickiness with a pen.

Surely, the kids he met will be just as excited as Holland was himself to see the upcoming Spider-Man franchise reboot.

Arriving in theaters July 7, director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
