As the MCU's iconic trickster god, Loki, Tom Hiddleston is no stranger to the San Diego Comic-Con, but this year he'll be attending for a different blockbuster -- Legendary's "Kong: Skull Island."

The actor is poised to return to Hall H for Warner Bros. presentation, which will feature a panel for the latest incarnation of the famous giant ape. Hiddleston will star in the highly anticipated reboot as Captain James Conrad alongside John Goodman, John C. Reilly, as well as MCU alum Samuel L. Jackson and rumored newbie, Brie Larson.

Little is known about "Kong: Skull Island" other than that it will share the same universe as 2014's "Godzilla" directed by Gareth Edwards, who is currently completing "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

"Kong" is slated for release on March 10, 2017, and will battle the iconic G-man himself sometime in 2020.
