No matter how appealing Tom Hiddleston tries to make luxury living sound in this first trailer for "High-Rise," you can't help but suspect that the modern conveniences disguise something dangerous.

Directed by Ben Wheatley ("The ABCs of Death," "A Field in England"), the thriller is an adaptation of J.G. Ballard's 1975 dystopian novel about class warfare within a close-off community. Hiddleston plays the film's antihero Dr. Robert Laing, who isn't quite convincing when he claims "there's almost no reason to leave" the tower.

Arriving in March, "High-Rise" also stars Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans and Elisabeth Moss.
