A surprising element to come out of Marvel's "Doctor Strange" was the mid-credit scene introducing the Sorcerer Supreme to Thor, the God of Thunder. This immediately propelled Stephen Strange into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe while also confirming the hero's later appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok." During the meeting, Strange took some shots at Loki, which Tom Hiddleston addressed with IGN during an interview for his upcoming film "Kong: Skull Island."

Hiddleston was asked what Loki thinks of Marvel's new magical beings, like Doctor Strange and Hela (the primary antagonist in "Thor: Ragnarok"). "I think he probably dismisses Strange," he remarked on Loki's behalf. "Yes, his sorcery is very impressive, but Loki’s been doing that for centuries so who cares? But Hela is a different beast and full of surprises. [She] actually might have been someone with whom he actually got along, but the circumstances have changed."

It doesn't sound like Loki believes Doctor Strange can match him in a game of mystical acumen. After all, Loki is a God while Strange is a mere mortal. Perhaps fans will get the opportunity to witness both put their skills to the test against one another when "Thor: Ragnarok" arrives in theaters.

Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo, “Thor: Ragnarok” is set to be released on November 3, 2017.
